Diamonds Waffle Weave Kimono Bath Robe - 750g

A robe for after the shower, not instead of a jumper.

Heavyweight towelling robes are wonderful in winter and far too much in February. The Diamonds Kimono is the lighter alternative: at 750gm in a tight waffle weave, it dries you and covers you without the heat and bulk of a full velour robe.

Waffle is the reason it works. The raised grid structure creates surface area for absorbency while leaving the fabric open enough to breathe and to dry quickly on the hook, which is the practical difference between a robe you use again tomorrow and one that is still damp.

It is made from a poly-cotton blend, 65% cotton and 35% polyester. The cotton does the absorbing and the softness; the polyester is there for a specific reason, which is minimum shrinkage and increased durability. A robe that goes through a hot wash regularly needs that stability.

Cut as a unisex kimono, one size fits most, and the belt is included.

Care Instructions

Warm wash up to 60°C before first use. This gives the robe its initial shrinkage, sets the tensile strength of the cotton fibres and removes any loom residue or oils.
