DreamGreen Padded Valance Black

The quickest way to make a tired bed base look new again.

A bed base usually gives up cosmetically long before it gives up structurally. The frame is still solid, the fabric is not. A padded valance is the fix: it hangs over the sides of the base and covers the lot, and in black it disappears under the bed entirely.

The construction is what stops it looking like a bedsheet thrown over a box. Vertical quilt stitching gives the fabric weight and structure so it hangs in clean vertical lines rather than rippling, and the top fabric is dyed the same colour as the quilting, so there is no contrast seam breaking up the finish. The result reads as one continuous surface from the mattress edge to the floor.

It is made from durable 100% polyester with a soft brushed finish and a non-woven backing, with a standard 33cm drop across every size.

Behind the fabric is the DreamGreen story. The filling is made from recycled plastic bottles, between 9 and 19 per valance depending on the size, processed into a super-fine microfibre. DreamGreen products are certified to the Global Recycled Standard, which traces recycled material from source through to finished product.
