DreamGreen Verve Quilted Coverlet Pewter

Velvet in a grey that suits any room already in the house.

Pewter is the Verve colourway to choose when the bed needs texture rather than colour. The velvet still gives the room depth and a sense of finish, but the tone stays quiet enough to sit under whatever cushions and throws come and go.

Holland Velvet is the reason it works. It is durable and fade-resistant, which is not something velvet is usually known for, so it can live on a bed in a sunlit room rather than being kept for best. It has a soft, deep surface and enough substance to provide year-round warmth.

It is quilted on both sides, which matters more than it sounds: there is no wrong side up, so it can be folded, flipped and rearranged without ever showing a plain back.

Inside is premium recycled bottle microfibre, and it is hypo-allergenic.

Three ways to use it, and they suit different seasons. Lay it flat as a full bed covering in winter. Fold it across the foot as a runner in summer. Tuck it in all round with hospital corners for a plain, minimal bedcap finish.

Why you'll love it

• Fade-resistant Holland Velvet: durable enough for daily use, including in sunlight
• Quilted on both sides: reversible in practice, so it always looks finished
• Year-round warmth: a genuine warmth layer, not just decoration
• Neutral pewter: texture without committing the room to a colour
• Premium recycled bottle microfibre fill, hypo-allergenic
