They stand upright at the back of the bed, which means the fill has to hold a shape rather than slump, and they are the pillow people lean against to read. This one is filled to 30% white duck down and 70% small white duck feather, which is a genuinely generous down content for a euro.

The mix is what makes it work. The small white duck feather provides the structure that keeps the pillow standing; the 30% white duck down softens the surface so it is comfortable to lean on rather than firm and lumpy.

It comes in two weights, and they behave differently. The 650g is the soft option, lighter and more relaxed on the bed. The 1080g is firm, filled enough to stand upright on its own and hold its edges square, which is what you want if the euro is doing the styling work at the back of a bed.

The outer is 100% premium down-proof japara cotton, a weave tight enough to stop quills working through, finished with double-stitched hems.

Care Instructions

Use a sateen cotton pillow protector. Dry clean, or tumble dry on low heat or line dry, then shake and fluff before reuse.
