Fleece and strong colours are usually a poor combination, because fleece fades and pills faster than almost anything else in a linen cupboard. This one is anti-fade and anti-pill by construction, which is what makes a deep navy worth choosing rather than a compromise.

400gsm coral fleece is an upgraded take on the fleece blanket most people already know. The fibre is ultra-fine, which gives it its texture and its softness, and it brings three properties that matter over time: it is lint-free, anti-pill and anti-fade. Those three are exactly what usually finishes off a fleece blanket.

It is gentle on allergies and skin irritations, and just as warm as the scratchy wool blanket it replaces, which makes it an easy swap. It is also very quick to wash and dry.

Use it flat, folded across the foot of the bed as a runner or throw, or tucked in all round with hospital corners as a full bedcover. It layers well over a fitted snug quilt as a second warmth layer.
