There is a large difference between a duvet with some down in it and a duvet that is mostly down, and this is the second kind. 90% super fine duck down cluster, with just 10% soft white duck feather mixed through it.

Down clusters are three-dimensional and trap air in a way flat feathers cannot, which is why a high-down duvet is so much warmer than its weight suggests. At 290gsm all-season weight, it is light over the body and drapes around you rather than sitting on top, and the 10% feather is there to give it just enough structure to hold its loft.

The casing matches the fill. 100% down-proof treated 500 thread count japara cotton, a superfine percale weave, tight enough to hold pure down without leakage and smooth enough to feel good in its own right. The hems are double stitched for added durability.

It works as a duvet inner or as a continental quilt on its own.
