Makers Batten Chair - Green

Green velvet, and the chair nobody wants to get out of.

Green is the batten chair that makes a decision. In a plain bedroom it becomes the thing you notice, and the velvet gives the colour a depth that a flat fabric never manages.

The frame is FSC certified timber, which means the wood is traceable to responsibly managed forests, and the leg fixation is built for commercial use rather than domestic. That matters more than it sounds: legs working loose is how occasional chairs die, and it is why a chair specified for a lobby lasts in a bedroom.

The upholstery is 100% hard-wearing polyester Porto velvet. Polyester velvet gives the softness and light-catching surface of velvet with far more resistance to wear than a natural pile, and the seat and back cushions are high-density foam, so the chair supports rather than swallows.

It carries a 2 year commercial guarantee and a 2 year warranty on the frame and foam, excluding misuse and general wear and tear.

Why you'll love it

• 100% hard-wearing polyester Porto velvet: the look of velvet with the durability of polyester
• High-density foam seat and back cushions: supportive rather than sagging
• FSC certified timber frame: responsibly sourced, and traceable
• Sturdy leg fixation, specified for commercial use: stays tight rather than working loose
• Generous seat size: a chair to sit in properly, not perch on
• 150kg maximum weight limit
• 2 year commercial guarantee, and a 2 year warranty on frame and foam: excluding misuse and general wear and tear

Care Instructions
