Makers Deluxe Tub Chair Fabric - Forest

Deep green, and built for daily use.

Forest is the strongest colour in the tub chair range, a deep green that gives a plain room a focal point. Used beside a sofa or in a reading corner, it does more for a space than a neutral ever will.

The number worth knowing is the Martindale rating: 66,300 cycles. Martindale measures abrasion resistance, rubbing a fabric until it wears through. The industry standard for heavy commercial use and high-traffic environments is 40,000 and above, so this fabric sits well past that. In a home, that means a chair that will not go threadbare on the arms.

The fabric is a durable, hard-wearing 100% polyester, and it has been pre-treated to resist stains, oil and water, so spills sit on the surface long enough to be dealt with.

Underneath is a sturdy timber frame with plate-fitted taper legs. Plate fitting spreads the load across a mounting plate instead of screwing straight into the frame, which is what keeps a chair like this from loosening up after a year. The timber is FSC certified.

Backed by a 2 year warranty on the frame and foam, excluding misuse and general wear and tear.
