Weavers 1240gram Velour Bath Robe - Charcoal

Heavy, soft, and charcoal enough not to show a thing.

At 1240gm this is a substantial robe, and the weight is the point. It hangs properly on the shoulders, it holds heat, and it feels like something rather than a dressing gown.

The construction is what makes it work: two different fabrics doing two different jobs. The outside is 100% charcoal grey cotton velour, a cut-pile finish that gives it a soft, dense, velvety surface. The inside is moisture-absorbent terry towelling. So the robe dries you while it warms you, which a single-faced velour robe cannot do.

Charcoal is the practical choice for a robe in constant use. It shows less than white between washes and reads as considered rather than clinical.

The belt is included, and we keep spares in stock, because the belt is always the part that goes missing.

Care Instructions

Warm wash up to 60°C before first use. This gives the robe its initial shrinkage, sets the tensile strength of the cotton fibres and removes any loom residue or oils.
