Mocha is the quiet middle ground between charcoal and a warm neutral, and it is the colour that makes a plain bathroom look finished without drawing attention to itself.

Like charcoal, this colourway includes a Make-up Face Cloth, embroidered so guests and family know which one to reach for. It is a small idea that solves a real problem: makeup is what ends the life of white face cloths, and a dedicated dark one keeps the rest of the set intact.

The pile is 100% ring spun soft combed cotton, and combing is the step that makes the difference. The short fibres and impurities are combed out of the cotton before spinning, leaving a longer, stronger strand. That is why a combed cotton towel stays soft through its life instead of turning scratchy, and why it absorbs so readily.

There are no herringbone borders. Border strips shrink at a different rate to the body of a towel, which is what pulls the edges in and leaves you with something that will not fold flat. Without them, the towel keeps its shape and stacks square on the shelf.

The colour is reactive dyed, which bonds the dye to the fibre rather than coating it, giving better colour consistency across the range and through repeated washing. The hems are double stitched, which is where towels usually start to fray.

490gsm across the towels, with the bath mat at 687gsm for a heavier, more absorbent finish underfoot.

Care Instructions

Hot wash up to 60°C before first use. This gives the towel its initial shrinkage, sets the tensile strength of the fibres and removes any loom residue or oils.
