DreamGreen Padded Valance Charcoal

Softer than black, more forgiving than white.

Charcoal is the colour most people land on for a valance, and for good reason. It sits back from the eye the way black does, without the hard edge black can bring to a light room, and it is far more relaxed about the odd scuff than white will ever be.

Underneath the colour it is a properly made piece. Vertical quilt stitching gives the fabric enough body to hang in straight lines rather than bunching around the corners of the base, and because the top fabric is the same colour as the quilting, there is no visible join between the two. What you see is a single, uniform surface.

The fabric is durable 100% polyester with a soft brushed finish, backed with a non-woven layer for stability, and it hangs to a standard 33cm drop.

There is a second story in the fill. It is made from recycled plastic bottles, 9 to 19 of them depending on the size, spun into a super-fine microfibre. The DreamGreen range is certified to the Global Recycled Standard, which follows the recycled content from source to finished product.
