Makers Foam Mattress with Waterproof & Fire Retardant Cover

Spill it, wipe it, make the bed again.

A rubber encased foam mattress solves a specific problem: what happens the morning after something gets spilled. The foam here is sealed completely inside a waterproof cover, so a spill never reaches it. Wipe the surface down with warm soapy water, or take the whole thing outside and put the hose on it.

Comfort has not been traded away for practicality. A 150mm thickness of 28 density foam gives it real cushioning, enough to sleep properly on whether it is in a bunk, on a base or on the floor.

The outer is a fire retardant 380gsm PVC coating and is REACH compliant, the European regulation covering the chemicals used in manufacture. Just as importantly for anyone actually sleeping on it, the fabric is smooth and silent, with none of the crackle that gives a cheap waterproof mattress away every time someone rolls over.

Practical details matter, too. It arrives vacuum packed, which makes it far easier to carry and to store, and the cover zips on and off for cleaning. Replacement covers are available if the outer wears out before the foam does.
