Makers Waterproof & Fire Retardant Mattress Cover - Kombu Green

The green replacement cover, ready for the hose.

Foam outlasts fabric. When the cover on a Makers waterproof foam mattress has taken its last spill, this is the replacement in Kombu Green, and it does exactly what the original did.

It is a complete waterproof rubber encasement, which is the important part: the foam inside is sealed, so nothing gets to it. Cleaning is genuinely simple. Wipe it down with warm soapy water, or take it outside and put the hose on it.

The outer is a fire retardant 380gsm PVC coating, and the fabric has a smooth, noiseless finish, so it does not crackle underneath a sheet the way a cheaper waterproof cover does.

It zips on and off, so the whole surface can be cleaned properly rather than sponged around.
