Weavers 220TC Premium Sheeting Fitted White

A 45cm drop, so it fits the mattress you actually have.

Most fitted sheets are cut for a mattress that stopped being standard years ago. Add a topper or a protector and a shallow sheet simply will not reach. This one has a generous 45cm drop across every size, which is the single most useful thing about it.

The fabric is a durable percale weave, 50% polyester and 50% cotton, bleached white. Percale is a tight, flat weave, and it feels exactly as it sounds: crisp and cool to the touch rather than soft and clinging. It is sanforised, pre-shrunk during manufacture, so the drop you buy is the drop you keep, and the 50/50 blend stays white for longer than cotton-rich sheeting.

It's the little details that make the difference. There is a coloured size identification thread on the elastic hem, and a recent improvement adds two size tags at the corners on the short side. They sit under the mattress and are invisible on a made bed, but they tell you instantly which way round the sheet goes, and which size it is when it comes out of the wash.

155gsm, 220 thread count per 10cm².

Why you'll love it

• 45cm drop on every size: fits deeper mattresses, and still fits with a topper or protector on
• 50% cotton / 50% polyester percale, bleached white: crisp, cool and hard-wearing
• Sanforised, pre-shrunk: low after-wash shrinkage, so the fit holds
• Two corner size tags on the short side: find the right way round without a guess, invisible once the bed is made
• Coloured size identification thread on the elastic hem
• Stays white for longer
• 155gsm, 220TC per 10cm²

Care Instructions

Lab tested to meet or exceed NZ and Australian commercial wash care standards. Hot wash up to 70°C before first use, to clench the weave, increase its tensile strength and remove any loom residue or oil.
