The difference between a bed that looks made and one that looks slept in is almost always the flat sheet, and almost always its length. These are cut with ample sizing across every size, so there is enough fabric to tuck in deeply at the foot and still have a decent fold at the top.

The fabric is a sturdy percale weave in 50% polyester and 50% cotton, colourfast dyed charcoal. The cotton content is what gives it breathability and a comfortable feel next to the skin; the polyester is what stops charcoal turning grey and keeps the sheet stable through repeated washing.

It is also sanforised, pre-shrunk during manufacture, which minimises post-wash shrinkage. A flat sheet that shrinks loses exactly the length it was bought for.

A coloured hemstitch thread at one end identifies the size, which saves unfolding three sheets to find the right one.

Care Instructions

Laboratory tested to meet or exceed NZ and Australian commercial wash care standards. An initial hot wash of up to 70°C is recommended, to enhance the weave's integrity, increase tensile strength and remove residual loom materials or oils.
